The holidays are nearly here, so don’t let the Po Po ruin your Christmas cheer!
If you find yourself in a situation with DUI / OVI enforcement this holiday, we urge you to choose to refuse any tests they may ask you to take. Why? Because field sobriety tests are subjective, urine and blood tests are easily contaminated, and breathalyzer machines are junk!
As we’ve mentioned, even the most innocuous Christmas treats can skew the results of a Breathalyzer test. Having pasta or white bread for dinner? Nibbling on candy from a gingerbread house with the kids? These foods can register as alcohol on a Breathalyzer machine, even if you haven’t been drinking! Even if you are safely under the legal limit, blowing too long or hard into a machine can cause a higher reading than is accurate. With your rights, freedom, and driving privileges on the line, there is absolutely no reason to submit to this test and hand over questionable “evidence”. The Po Po wants to ruin your holiday, but you don’t have to let them! Not Guilty Adams is here to help!
