Bill Cunningham is an attorney, former Ohio Assistant Attorney General, a radio talk show host on 700 WLW since 1983, a daytime syndicated television host, The Bill Cunningham Show seen Monday-Friday in every American city, and a business owner. As an attorney, he received the Ohio Outstanding Young Lawyer Award (1983), served as Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association/Young Lawyers Division, practiced in the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office and as a criminal defense lawyer representing hundreds of criminal defendants.
He received his B.A. from Xavier University (1970) and a J.D. from the University of Toledo (1974); he served as a Federal Law Clerk to the Honorable Don J. Young (N.D. Ohio). He is married to the Honorable Penelope R. Cunningham, First District State of Ohio.
As a radio talk show host, he received two Marconi Awards as America’s Outstanding Radio Talk Show Host (2001 and 2009). Bill is annually recognized by Talkers Magazine as one of America’s Best Talk Show Host and is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on 310 radio stations in all 50 states.
