Steve-Adams-Xmas

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the town,
The Po Po was stopping every citizen around…

Christmas is coming, and so is the Po Po! We want you and your family to enjoy a happy and safe holiday this year, so make sure that DUI enforcement doesn’t ruin it for you. Police officers have increased DUI/OVI enforcement in Ohio and throughout the country this month and through the end of the year in hopes of catching as many alleged drunk drivers as possible. Inevitably, overzealous cops may even stop or detain those who are not truly over the legal blood alcohol concentration limit. If you are stopped by police under suspicion of drunk driving, it is important to protect your rights by not providing the police with evidence that can be used against you.

If a law enforcement officer asks you to take a breath test, the best thing you can do is choose to refuse. Why? Because breathalyzers are junk! Breath testing machines have to be routinely calibrated and maintained in order for them to be accurate, but all too often they are not. Even well maintained machines are subject to error – as you will see from our video, Steven the Elf blew a .028 BAC after eating pasta, candy, syrup, white bread, and pizza. After taking a swig of mouthwash, he blew a .081. In both cases, Steven the Elf had not consumed any alcohol and was 100% sober. Imagine having pasta and wine for dinner and then being told you are under the influence on the drive home from the restaurant!

These machines are a junk science scam. Don’t fall for them or for other forms of Po Po trickery, including field sobriety tests, urine tests, and blood tests. By saying no-no to the Po Po, you avoid giving them the evidence they need in order to be able to convict you. No matter what they tell you, an officer is not going to “cut you a deal” or do anything to benefit your best interests. After all, the officer is arresting you. That is why you need the help of an experienced Cincinnati DUI lawyer who can fight on your behalf. When you work with The Law Offices of Steven R. Adams, LLC, we can also fight to preserve your driving privileges.

SEASONED CINCINNATI DUI ATTORNEYS FIGHTING FOR YOU

This holiday, remember:

Choose to refuse the junk science test
And saying no-no to the Po Po is always the best!

Stopped by the man? Call the man! The Law Offices of Steven R. Adams, LLC is prepared to aggressively defend you against your DUI charges by challenging evidence from faulty breathalyzer machines. We may be able to have unreliable evidence thrown out, which means you may stand a chance of having your charges reduced or dismissed. All cases are different, however, and we always take an individualized approach to creating effective defense strategies.

We hope you and your family enjoy all the season has to offer, minus the Po Po.
