Now there are two ways that the police deal with your car at the scene. Number one, they will lock and secure your car at the scene and allow someone else except you to come by and get it and drive it to your home, because at that point in time you’re under arrest and you’re most likely going to refuse if you’ve listened to all my other videos. Secondly, they will tow your car. The popo will call the towtow, and they will tow your car from the scene. Then after your arrest, after you’ve been released you and your family the next day can make arrangements to contact the tow yard to get your car back. You cannot do it; you’ll have to have other people do it for you. You will have to bring your proof of insurance. You will have to have your certificate of title. You will have to perhaps even have a release from the police department to get it out of the tow yard. Call us at the law offices of Steven R.
